Understand the whole situation
A business problem often touches several people, interests and disciplines. I investigate what is really happening and connect the substance with legal and governance considerations. Together with the specialists involved, I make clear who can take which decision and what is needed to move forward.
Technology as a foundation
My career began in systems administration and IT. I worked on infrastructure projects and an IT reorganisation for the Dutch Army’s Quick Reaction Force. That technical foundation still shapes how I look: what is really happening, where is the data and who has access?
Building and delivering
I built and sold an online backup service and explored new technology, including DAO structures and programming on Ethereum. Building systems and making them work is practical experience for me, not an abstract subject.
The Netherlands and beyond
From Enschede, I work on national and international challenges. From stalled collaborations and complex dossiers to organisations where decision-making is under pressure. The situation determines the approach and which specialists we involve.
Responsibility in governance
In civic and governance roles I encounter the same question: how do you reach a supported, workable decision when interests differ? I bring experience from employee representation, associations and boards into my work for organisations.
How I work
I ask questions, investigate the facts and make choices concrete. You can expect direct communication and substantive involvement. We agree what is needed, where my role starts and ends, and which specialist expertise to involve.
